Newnes-McGehee’s slow down belt provides deceleration from a planer outfeed conveyor and gentle placement of the lumber onto a landing transfer.
The slow down belt is designed to provide a uniform lumber line for all products and is configured for each mill’s requirement for planer speed and wood length. Various standard belt lengths and widths are available.
Newnes-McGehee slow down belts are shipped fully assembled and are adjustable for position and height (front and back) to best suit your mill’s application.
